How flight attendants stay fit.

As a flight attendant, I'm constantly on the go, which means I don't always get to eat as healthy as I would like, and I'm constantly traveling and trying new foods. We are required to look fabulous in our uniforms and people often ask me how I stay so fit! Well wonder no more, I'm excited to announce the beginning of a new project that is taking flight attendant culture by storm! Here's a sneak peek of my new workout video, "frequent flyer fit & fabulous!" stay on the lookout for the official launch!

Special thanks to my workout partner and camera crew, Jude. Xoxo. ;)

Seriously though people, we go through a lot to keep ourselves entertained, if you can't laugh at yourself, what can you laugh at?? Hope this made you giggle.

Fancy That.

Yesterday as I was fighting the post-christmas returners, shoppers, and exchangers, I got a phone call from Hollywood, FL. I knew it was my airline, so I was quick to answer the phone, in the middle of a bustling mall. I ducked into a store and had to ask the clerk for a  pen & paper, and proceeded to get my travel arrangements! December 30th, at 6:00am, I am headed to Ft. Lauderdale!

While she apologized for the inconvenience, she explained that I would be staying 45 minutes away from the training center, In Boca Raton. POOR ME. Class is scheduled to begin at 9am each morning, so I will have to be ready to hop on the shuttle each morning at 8. A cake walk for this early morning barista. While they thought of the 45 minute commute as a bad thing, I am actually thankful! I know the extra time just sitting in the morning will give me some quiet moments to study and be fully prepared for whatever the day brings. I am such a blessed blessed girl.

Highlights:
-FINALLY knowing my travel arrangements!/ Such a weight off my chest!
-Seeing my beautiful new home for the month of training... I won't suffer. :)
-Being almost ready in the shopping department! Today I must conquer luggage & shoes.

NON-Highlights:
-Somehow dropping my guard after the phonecall enough to let one of the kiosk guys do his buy this routine, AND I BOUGHT IT. He wore me down! After his 3rd attempt I bought his $60.00 dead sea mineral skin treatment for $27.00. I know Mom, you taught me better. I have been shamed. Duped into the bought something I didn't want or need club. Oh Well. You live and you learn, right? Dead Sea Minerals anyone?

Waiting on the World to Change...or an E-mail.

Today is Saturday, December 22nd.

And I am waiting on an email.

This email gives me the information on training, my flight information, and what I'll need to bring for a month of hotel living. It's a big one. My training class begins on January 2nd, and we're supposed to fly out anytime between the 29th-31st. But it's Saturday, and Monday is Christmas Eve, so I am guessing I wont get the email until possibly the 26th... Oh my word.

The interview process went so quickly, & now it's stopped. It's enough to make a girl pretty nervous! But I know that this will be in God's timing. I just have to be patient. Prayers please!

In the meantime.. does anyone have any tips on how to pack beauty products for a month in a carry-on? Tips for extended hotel room stays? How to eat semi-healthy with no kitchen, & {possibly}no refrigerator? I'd like to not eat out too often if possible, I'm just not sure how to go about this. There is a pretty big lack of information on flight attendant training out there. I'm excited to be able to bring this blog with me and shed a little light on the subject.

Alright y'all, help a sister out, get to commenting. I need you. Please. :)
