Waiting on the World to Change...or an E-mail.

Today is Saturday, December 22nd.

And I am waiting on an email.

This email gives me the information on training, my flight information, and what I'll need to bring for a month of hotel living. It's a big one. My training class begins on January 2nd, and we're supposed to fly out anytime between the 29th-31st. But it's Saturday, and Monday is Christmas Eve, so I am guessing I wont get the email until possibly the 26th... Oh my word.

The interview process went so quickly, & now it's stopped. It's enough to make a girl pretty nervous! But I know that this will be in God's timing. I just have to be patient. Prayers please!

In the meantime.. does anyone have any tips on how to pack beauty products for a month in a carry-on? Tips for extended hotel room stays? How to eat semi-healthy with no kitchen, & {possibly}no refrigerator? I'd like to not eat out too often if possible, I'm just not sure how to go about this. There is a pretty big lack of information on flight attendant training out there. I'm excited to be able to bring this blog with me and shed a little light on the subject.

Alright y'all, help a sister out, get to commenting. I need you. Please. :)

  1. You have yourself a consistent follower! I will be reading with joy to see where the Lord takes you! I'm SOOOO excited for this new journey! For carry on liquids... buy them in New York! :)There will be a CVS/ Walgreens near your hotel, i'm sure! Buy fruit (fresh and dried), some almonds... that will make good snacks. Your hotel will surely have a small fridge... so a gallon of milk(cereal for breakfast), some instant oatmeal (you'll definitely have a water heater), some hummus and carrot sticks and sandwich fixings.

i love you girl! again... SO excited for you!

  2. Hi Lovely Girl
Momma has so enjoyed this, and can't wait to follow your adventures around the world!!!
    I love you so much!

ps.... always DOUBLE-ziplock bag everything and put the big containers into the checked bag. Wrap articles of clothing around those bottles that can squish to protect them from being squeezed out.
    So excited for you!!!

  3. Hi Ty <3 I'm so excited and cannot wait to hear more about your travels! I do have a tad bit of info...with beauty products (like shampoo) on the East Coast, it will not do you favor on the West Coast ;) The East Coast has different water (clean), therefore, their shampoo products will not do the trick with West coast water (otherwise put...dirty water) :) Hope this helps...as my hair never lathered with West side bubbles in NYC! But may buy travel size or use the hotel stuff so that you don't have to carry so much :)
    I'm with Sarah...Oatmeal, sandwich, carrots, eggs! :)
    LOVE YOU!
